Cricket and match betting

Cricket is the centrepiece of the sportsbook: fixtures from the IPL and T20 international tournaments run through to daily league and club cricket. Markets open well before the match, and prices keep updating as the game unfolds — so you can react to a wicket, a boundary, or a momentum shift while the action is still live.

Football works the same way, with leagues, cup matches and club fixtures available across the season. Tennis, basketball, and other popular sports round out the sports betting board.

How placing a bet works

  1. Create your login and register at the main RudraBet site.
  2. Fund the balance with a UPI deposit — see payments & withdrawals.
  3. Pick a test match, T20, or any other fixture and choose the market you want — a simple match-winner is the most common starting point.
  4. Enter your stake. The potential payout is shown before you confirm, so you always know exactly what the selection costs.
  5. Confirm the bet slip. Your stake is deducted and the outcome is settled when the selected result is finalised.

Pre-match vs live betting

Pre-match betting means staking before the toss or first ball. Prices reflect everything that is known ahead of the game.

Live betting (in-play) moves with the match. When the game accelerates, so do the markets — and when it slows down, so do they. Live odds are volatile by design; a short burst of scoring can move a price quickly.

How odds and payouts work

Markets use decimal odds. The payout is your stake multiplied by the odds on your winning selection. For example, a ₹500 stake at 2.00 odds returns ₹1,000 if it wins; if it loses, the ₹500 is lost. The odds you see are exactly the odds you get — there is no hidden margin quoted in a separate place, and nothing is added at settlement.

Sportsbook terms, in one place

Stake
The amount you put on a bet — the number you can lose, not the number you hope to win.
Bankroll
The total money set aside for betting. Healthy staking is a small, fixed fraction of it per bet.
Match winner / moneyline
A bet on the outright result of the fixture — two ways to settle, or three when a draw is possible.
Decimal odds
Your stake multiplier. Odds of 2.00 return ₹1,000 on a winning ₹500 stake, original money included.
In-play
Betting while the event runs; the odds reprice on every ball, point, or goal.
Void
A bet settled at stake returned because a market condition was not met — no side wins, no side loses.
Settled
The point at which the market has an official result. Your bet is then paid or lost; there is no appeal window.
Limit
The maximum the book accepts on a market. Limits vary by sport, event, and how far out the fixture is.

Before you bet: a few ground rules

  • Set a session bankroll before you open the first market — and treat that number as a hard limit.
  • Never chase. After a loss, the disciplined move is to stop, not to double the stake.
  • Check that bet slip against the market rule set: fixture times, venue details and rule variants matter.
  • Keep a personal record of wagers so your session stays transparent to you.

Betting should stay entertainment. If it starts to feel like a way to earn money — or to escape something — our responsible gambling guide covers limit-setting, warning signs, and where to find confidential help.

Look around while you decide

The same balance also works across the rest of the site: casino games and UPI payments both draw from one account, so you can move between them without re-depositing.
